22 March 2021Shave excision is generally recommended for raised moles. If your mole is flat or large, then we may recommend ellipse excision instead.
During your consultation, a doctor or surgeon would thoroughly inspect your mole in order to properly diagnose the problem and recommend the most appropriate form of treatment.
